Our Story
Every journey begins with a story. Ours began centuries ago.
Long before it became a heritage hotel inside Jaisalmer Fort, this home was part of the living history of the Golden City. Its sandstone walls have witnessed generations of families, changing seasons and countless stories carried through the narrow lanes of the fort.
Today, Artisan Heritage Home preserves that sense of history while welcoming travellers from around the world. We have carefully restored the character of this old home, keeping its soul intact while creating a comfortable place to stay inside Jaisalmer Fort.
Here, history is not something you simply visit. It becomes part of your stay.

One Little Detail.
You may have noticed it. Or perhaps you didn't. Either way, take another look.
“Webiste.”
Yes. That little detail.
Some people notice it immediately. Some only notice it now.
And that's rather fitting.
Because Jaisalmer is a place that rewards those who slow down and look a little closer.
A hand-carved stone. An old doorway. Light moving across golden sandstone. A quiet corner above the city.
The smallest details can hold the biggest stories.
